Instructions for installing Imou camera
First you need to download and install the Imou Life application in Google Play and App Store. (If you have already installed the application please update to the latest version)
After downloading, we will install the camera into the application according to the following steps.
Step 1:
Run the Imou Life application then register an account for the first use. You can create an Imou Life account using Email or mobile phone number ( Note that the mobile phone number may or may not contain the first 0 ).
Step 2:
Power on your device and wait until the camera indicator flashes green.
Attention: If the camera does not flash green, please press the reset button for 10 seconds to reset the camera, then start again.
Step 3:
Scan the QR code in the device label with the App, then start network configuration for the camera
Step 4:
Your phone will automatically connect to the camera's soft AP Wi-Fi signal.
Note:
If your phone cannot automatically connect to the signal for some reason, please go to your phone's Wi-Fi connection page, connect your phone to the displayed Wi-Fi signal. displayed on the application page, then return to the Imou Life page. The Wi-Fi password is a secure code on the device label.
Step 5:
Select the router's Wi-Fi signal to connect your camera to and enter the Wi-Fi password.
Step 6:
Your device will connect to your Wi-Fi signal, then connect to the Imou cloud and link to your Imou account automatically.
Note:
When connecting the device, the status indicator light will flash red, after successful connection, the status indicator light will remain green.
Step 7:
Name the device and enjoy it.
